• Are they environmentally friendly? - Yes! -Beeswax creates a strong connection to the earth, harkening to the beauty and productivity of nature. No bees are harmed in the harvesting of beeswax, making it a cruelty-free, vegan/vegetarian-friendly option. The wick is made from an organic cotton core. 

• Are these candles healthy? Yes! - Beeswax candles release negative ions when burned, eliminating dust, mold, and unpleasant odors. This is particularly helpful for those with allergies, asthma, and hay fever.

• Does the candle come with a holder? No! One of the reasons for starting this company was to reduce waste and help nature heal. Most homes have enough holders that are far superior to the cheap ones that come with most candles. They never seem to work against any wind! If you do not have a suitable holder (vase, jar, old holder) let us know and we can help you out :)

• Why do these cost more than normal candles? The quality! Supermarket candles are made from Paraffin Wax. Paraffin wax is a byproduct of the oil purification process. Like plastic it is harmful to you and the planet but it is cheap. 

There are also Soy Wax candles - these are slightly better for the planet, but like Soy Milk not 100% fit for purpose. This process still involves intensive farming and since Soy doesn't naturally form wax and tends to be soft and runny. Manufacturers add chemicals or Paraffin wax to make it work so we are back to square one. 

Beeswax is the only naturally occurring wax. For bees to make their wax is a longer term process that involves thousands of trips to flowers and converting that nectar into wax. It is a natural process that takes longer but creates a higher quality product. Beeswax melts at a much higher temperature since it is a naturally formed product. It is more durable and naturally scented. This means it will last much longer than other candles. It will not melt in the sun and ruin your candle.

We use actual, organic citronella oil, not a chemical citronella scent. This is important as it will mean it is more effective and no toxins. Much like strawberry or orange flavoured sweets, it is just not the same!

• Is it 100% guaranteed? No :( A candle will typically be on top of a table and so will work from there. We advise you to use a spiral below the table to give yourself more coverage.
